Dr. Paulo’s Kona Coffee is grown, nurtured and harvested in the Kona coffee belt, which is located on the western slopes of two volcanoes, Hualalai and Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. The rich volcanic soils and sub-tropical climate of this region make it the only place on the islands to cultivate this world class coffee know as Kona coffee.
Dr. Paulo’s Kona Coffee Farms always delivers a consistent flavor because we don’t buy coffee from other farms like some of the big names in Kona coffee do. We only use the coffee from our O’hana (family) of farms. Giving you a true farm to cup experience. All of our coffee comes from the same O’hana, which means we plant our new trees from the seeds of our existing trees to ensure you have the same consistent flavor every time you pour a hot cup of Dr. Paulo’s Kona Coffee.
We small batch roast all of our coffee, which enables us to custom roast for you. Keep in mind many roasters have specialized names for their roasts and their is very little industry standardization. This is why I strive to form long term relationships with my family members and learn specifically how you want your coffee roasted so I can deliver you your perfect cup of coffee! Coffee in general falls into one of four color categories- light, medium, medium dark and dark. Our signature medium dark roast turns the aroma chocolaty with low-toned vanilla notes. Each cup has a smooth body with a fine balance of acidity and roast taste, providing an exceptional flavor.
